Job Title: Electronic Soldering Technician (Thermometer Assembly)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electronic Soldering Technician to join our team in the assembly of precision thermometer devices. This role is responsible for performing high-quality soldering and assembly of electronic components in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has strong hand-eye coordination, experience with fine soldering, and a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hand soldering of electronic components, including through-hole and surface mount (SMT) parts
Assemble thermometer units following work instructions, schematics, and quality standards
Inspect solder joints to ensure IPC standards and product quality requirements are met
Use microscopes and precision tools for small-component assembly
Conduct basic testing and troubleshooting of assembled units
Maintain a clean and organized workstation in compliance with safety and ESD standards
Document production work and report any defects or inconsistencies
Meet daily production targets while maintaining high-quality output
Qualifications
Previous experience in electronic soldering (SMT and/or through-hole preferred)
Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards is a plus
Experience working with small components under a microscope preferred
Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
Ability to read basic assembly instructions and schematics
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit for extended periods
Good vision (with or without correction) for detailed work
Steady hands for precision soldering tasks
Work Environment
Clean, temperature-controlled manufacturing facility
May require use of ESD protection equipment
Repetitive hand movements and fine motor skills required
